The 7 Cash Rules โ€” In Order

1
Tax account is untouchable. ~33% of net profit moves there the day money lands.
2
Business reserve fills first: 6 months of expenses.
3
Personal reserve fills second: 12 months of lifestyle.
4
During the build: first $30K to reserve, then 50/50 reserve โ†” investing.
5
After reserves: 70% distributed / 30% retained in the business.
6
Retained 30% splits between growth reinvestment and the war chest.
7
Lifestyle stays at $20K. Surplus feeds the machine, not the ego.

The 3.3x Rule โ€” Why the Send Is the First Deposit

$3.30
A dollar invested in month 1 by month 144
$1.81
Same dollar invested in month 72
$1.00
Same dollar invested in month 144
Every month of delay costs roughly $100,000 at the finish line. The earliest dollars are the most valuable dollars in the entire plan โ€” they're the ones you can never buy back.
Offer structure: $12,500/mo ยท annual agreements ยท billed quarterly ($37,500) ยท pay 12 get 15 for PIF ยท 10% rev share as gravy, never the floor.

The Levers (worth ~$25Kโ€“$35K/mo at scale)

1. S-corp split โ€” distributions avoid the 15.3% SE tax (~$200K/yr at scale). 2. QBI โ€” 20% deduction on pass-through income. 3. Solo 401(k) โ€” ~$70K/yr pre-tax shelter. 4. Augusta rule โ€” 14 tax-free rental days to the business. 5. Vehicle leasing agreement โ€” multiplies the vehicle deduction. 6. STR loophole โ€” depreciation offsets active income, year 2โ€“3 move. One CPA appointment blesses the whole stack.

Retirement Scenarios

Stop at 50 vs ride to 60. Uses the return and contribution from the Investment Engine tab.

Scenario A โ€” Contribute to 50, then ride to 60

Nest egg at 50
Nest egg at 60 (rides 10 more years, no contributions)
Monthly withdrawal at 60 (gross, 4%)
Monthly withdrawal at 60 (after ~20% LTCG)

Scenario B โ€” Keep contributing all the way to 60

Nest egg at 60 (264 months)
Monthly withdrawal at 60 (gross, 4%)
Monthly withdrawal at 60 (after ~20% LTCG)

Scenario C โ€” The Phased Ramp (your actual plan)

Nest egg at 50 with the ramp from the Investment Engine
Gap to the $11M target
Close the gap three ways: hit $40K/mo sooner than month 25, add the business exit lump (a $3M exit at year 8 compounds to ~$4.5M by year 12), or let it ride to 60. The plan doesn't need all three โ€” any one of them closes it.

Car Decision โ€” The Deduction Math

Edit the inputs. GVWR means gross vehicle weight rating โ€” the max loaded weight on the door sticker, not what the car weighs. Check the sticker, not the model name.

Inputs

Option 1 โ€” Under 6,000 lbs (e.g., $20K used BMW/Audi)

Year 1 MACRS depreciation (~20% of cost)
Year 1 deduction at business-use %
Operating costs at business-use % (yr est.)
Total year-1 deduction
Tax saved
Effective after-tax cost, year 1

Option 2 โ€” Over 6,000 lbs (2018 Tahoe/Suburban/Expedition/Sequoia/Armada)

Section 179 SUV cap (6,000โ€“14,000 lbs)$31,000
Eligible amount (lesser of price or cap)
Year 1 deduction at business-use %
Operating costs at business-use % (yr est.)
Total year-1 deduction
Tax saved
Effective after-tax cost

How to Buy โ€” Three Paths

1
Business pays cash (simplest). Business account buys it, title in the business name, full deduction, no lender. Requires the cash โ€” and the reserve rules come first.
2
Business finances it. Loan in the business name; you deduct depreciation + the interest portion (not the payments). A young S-corp will almost certainly need your personal guarantee โ€” normal, doesn't change the deduction, but you're personally on the hook if the business defaults. If financing falls through, personal credit + lease-back is plan C: legal but a round trip.
3
Buy personally, lease to the corp. You pay tax on the money first, then lease it to the business at fair market rate. The business deducts payments; you report lease income. Cleaner at your stage: Path 1 or 2.
Key facts: The Q5 does NOT qualify (~4,900 lbs GVWR). The Q7/SQ8 run ~6,300โ€“6,800 lbs. Used vehicles qualify fine. Requirements: >50% business use in year one, mileage log from day one, and the car appearing in your content and client meetings is what makes the percentage defensible. One CPA appointment blesses the whole structure before the first payment moves.
